Maine Monument Service is a family owned and operated business providing custom cemetery monuments and unique gravestone memorial services throughout Midcoast Maine.
Our work ranges from custom granite family monuments to traditional military headstones. We believe in quality craftsmanship of all monuments and headstones that leave our shop; along with all the services we provide. Our small size and commitment lets us create the memorial that you envision and communicate with our customers throughout the entire process.

Getting Started
Granite and marble come in many shapes, colors, and sizes; all of which can be customized into the perfect headstone depending on personal taste and needs.
If you have already decided on a color and size we can immediately place an order from our granite distributors; if not we are happy to help you make a decision. We then gather all information to be engraved on the monument.
This is called the design phase and here at Maine Monument Service we walk you through the complete process. After decisions are made we send a visual layout of the design and the engraving for customer approval; and then our work begins.
